Tahiti evokes visions of an island paradise. With 118 islands with rugged mountain peaks, coral reefs, turquoise-blue lagoons, white sand, palm-fringed beaches, and luxuriously intimate resorts, each island paradise has something for everyone. Bora Bora, Moorea, Huahine, Taha'a, Raiatea, Manihi, Tikehau, Rangiroa, Fakarava, The Marquesas and the other exquisite Islands of Tahiti cover more than two million square miles of the South Pacific Ocean and is comprised of 118 islands and atolls spread over five great archipelagos.

Islands crowned with jagged peaks while others appear to just float above the waves. The South Pacific is nearly as large as Western Europe, but all the islands adds up a land mass slightly larger than the state of Rhode Island.

Easy to travel to, under 8 hours by air from LAX and daily nonstop flights.  South of the equator as Hawaii is north, Tahiti is halfway between California and Australia, on the North America side of the International Date Line and the same time zone as Hawaii (three hours behind California March-October and two hours behind California November to March).

Tahiti's Outer Islands Travel

French Polynesia is a true paradise! An ultimate destination for weddings, commitments, honeymoons, romantic getaways and couples in love. Tahiti's outer islands offer a true exotic experience beyond the beaten path.

Experience traditional ways of life on Huahini, with a traditional Tahitian Wedding! The ‘lady' island draws her name from the shape of its lush peaks outlining the body of a pregnant woman.

Rangiroa, best diving in Tahiti, have an underwater wedding! The largest atoll in the Tuamotu Archipelago, offers romance, adventure and passion.

Manihi, the first pearl farm, overwater or premium beach bungalow stays with spectacular views of stunning turquoise waters.

Perfect for romantic retreats and rendezvous. Twist with island adventures and add a splash of champagne! Your first stop Papeete, Tahiti ~ a tropical heaven!
